T-Bone’z Bud’z was founded by Hemingway-esq South Bay Native and Multi-Media Artist, Tony (Anthony) Ballejos. An award-winning Filmmaker, and Artist, Published Journalist, Promotor (Co-Founder of the Hermosa Beach Film Festival), Amateur Boxer and Abstract Painter, who now works mostly in Photo-Realism Advertising and Commercial Art. Growing up in The South Bay, CA, Tony was a creative type who discovered the benefits of Cannabis at 17. Growing up, he learned to box, receiving lessons from his father, and later on famed Boxing Coach Fabela Chavez, embarking on a brief Amateur Boxing Career. Sub sequentially making some money in the rehabbing of Real Estate in The Greater Harbor Area, Tony eventually went back to school to study Film, Business, Theatre Arts and Writing. With his background in Real Estate, he was able to secure financing for his debut feature-short film, Met-Rx Tiffany’s. A Romantic Comedy starring Tony and a bunch of his friends. Casting largely from his inner-circle, he nonetheless came up with an Award-Winning Debut Short Film. Credited as Writer, Director, he successfully made the rounds at the film festival circuit, picking up some awards on the way (Palm Springs Film Festival, Best Short, Sandance Film Festival Audience Award, LA Short Film Fest, Honorable Mention.) Using the impetus from this success, Tony was able to launch a successful, Filmmaking, Advertising, Writer/Illustrator for hire and Media Director career. He went on to found a Boutique Film and Video Production Company, Sundance Film, a Graphic Design Firm and a Promotional Concern that founded The Hermosa Beach Film Festival and promoted Music and Film Festivals in Hermosa Beach and The Greater South Bay Area.
